How a Silver Spring clinic built a 7-day patient machine

The gap

Pain does not keep office hours. The clinic's own patients described the same pattern repeatedly: symptoms escalate on a Friday evening or over a weekend, and every nearby practice is closed until Monday morning. The available options at that moment are an urgent care queue, an emergency room, or waiting it out.

Competitors in the immediate area closed evenings and weekends. That is not a criticism of them — it is a structural gap in local coverage. The clinic wanted to answer during those windows, but had no way for anyone to discover that, no way to qualify who was calling, and no way to book without a staff member physically present at a desk.

The build

  • Compliant landing pages. One page per service and coverage window, describing availability and process in plain language — no outcome language, no treatment promises.
  • Self-qualifying intake. A short form that captures symptom category, urgency, insurance situation, and preferred window before anyone picks up a phone, so the first conversation starts informed.
  • Booking engine. Real availability tied to the clinic's actual staffed hours, including the evening and weekend windows the pages advertise.
  • Review and referral loops. Post-visit prompts asking for real, attributed feedback, plus a referral path for patients who want to send someone in.

The governance layer

Every page passes an FTC and health-claim scan before it can publish. Treatment and cure language is restricted. Outcome implication is flagged. Price-match and lowest-price-guaranteed constructions are blocked. Testimonials are real, attributed statements only — no composites, no stock quotes.

The refusal is the brand.

A page that will not claim what it cannot prove is a page a licensing board, a regulator, or a sceptical patient can read line by line. That constraint shaped the copy on every page in this build, and it is why the clinic can point at any sentence and defend it.
